Diamond Mine Deluxe Slots
The word 'deluxe' is used a lot throughout many different slot games. Does it always stand up to a closer inspection? Sometimes… but not always. We decided to check out the Diamond Mine Deluxe slot game, a new spin on the original Diamond Mine slot, to see where this one falls in the scheme of things.
Does this come from the same stable as the original game?
It does, yes, and if you know your slot games you may remember that the original was created by Realtime Gaming (RTG).
Demo possibilities are ready for you to try
We prefer games where there's a practice version to check out first, and we can confirm there is a demo for this title.
Another diamond-filled theme
Yes, indeed… there are some more diamonds scattered around in this game. It's not a simple re-release of the original game though, as there are some changes up for grabs here.
There isn't much change in the design
You'll see they've added the Deluxe word to the proceedings, as you might assume, but other than that, you'd be forgiven for easily getting the two mixed up at first glance. This version of the game does have a key difference though, so stay tuned to learn more about that.
Let's take Diamond Mine Deluxe for a spin
Things begin in the standard way here, with three reels to play on. The paytable returns to its position above those reels, too. While the first game had a progressive, this one doesn't.
Yet while the first game opted to play only with standard symbols, we get the chance to hunt down a wild this time around. Look for an oval symbol with 2x inside. This might supply a clue to how it works. One of them gives a 2x multiplier to any prize it helps with, while two has the effect of multiplying the wilds together, creating a bigger 4x multiplier. It doesn't apply to the double diamond icon, but everything else works fine.
The payline quantity doesn't change
This is staying the same, with just one line to play on.
Betting amounts available in Diamond Mine Deluxe
They're staying with a nickel as the cheapest available coin here. You can bet more if you wish, so sort through the available coins to see what you think. And once again, there is a chance to bet one, two, or three coins on that line.
The paytable doesn't move either
It remains above the reels for the duration of the game.
Bonuses are out of bounds in Diamond Mine Deluxe
While we have a wild that we didn't get before, the game stays away from bonus territory.
Free spins are also absent
Not much we can add to that.
RTP details for the slot game
As usual, RTG follows their pattern of not releasing the return to player details for any game. This may be because casinos can decide to set their own values, so be careful of this when choosing where to play.
Our rating for this slot game sequel
The original garnered a score of 6/10, but the wild that forms the main alteration to the plot for this one certainly deserves a boost for the score. We are ranking this at 7/10 accordingly.
Prize potential in Diamond Mine Deluxe
We've no progressive to play for, so we are limited to the available paytable prizes this time. Playing one or two coins and receiving a full line of 2x wilds on the payline would net you 800 or 1,600 coins, respectively. Playing three coins would push this up to 3,000 coins in return.
Demo action gives you a chance to experiment
You can try different coins, spin a few times to see what happens, and get an overall feel of the game with no risk in this case.
Play for real whenever you see Diamond Mine Deluxe at an RTG casino
This isn't one of the most popular RTG games we've come across, but it still ranks well among their other slots. If you like the practice game, you can swap over to the real thing at your selected casino.
Mobile action available as well
Look for a casino that has an easy to access mobile site as well, so you can play Diamond Mine Deluxe wherever you wish.
